Starting a biotech company is hard and requires science, capital and an experienced team effort. BioLabs/LabCentral introduced a model of shared co-working laboratories several years ago that are supporting founders/entrepreneurs and their teams in building successful companies. Starting in Boston in 2010, and with 12 locations now in 9 cities around the country, the model has grown significantly and is proving to be an integral and valuable part of successful startup creation for biotech companies.
We will discuss the impact of these shared facilities on each company’s growth as well as the overall economic impact these communities have in aggregate.
